Cabo San Juan del Guia is one of the most popular destinations within the park. It can be reached by hiking for about two hours from the entrance or by taking a shuttle bus from the entrance. Once at Cabo San Juan, visitors can relax on the beach, go swimming in the ocean, or hike to nearby viewpoints. There are also camping facilities available for those who wish to spend the night.
Other nearby attractions within the park include Pueblito Chairama, an ancient indigenous village, and the Cascada Valencia, a picturesque waterfall. Both of these attractions require a moderate hike to reach and are open from 8am to 4pm.
It's important to note that the park is closed on the last Monday and Tuesday of February each year for environmental maintenance.
